After falling down 14 stairs while helping his brother move, John was rushed to Boston Medical Center Hospital. Shortly upon arrival, he is read his last rites, and his wife and three children were told "if and only if John were to survive, he may never walk or talk again!"

Resurrecting the Jeremiah 29:11 Service to Humanity Awards
With all its charm and beauty, the Granite Links in Quincy Massachusetts could not have been a more picturesque setting for the 2024, Jeremiah 29:11 Service to Humanity awards. “It was put together under some very remarkable and DeVine circumstances,” says John Broderick Co-founder of GRACE From Above Ministries. The original and only Jeremiah 29:11 Service to Humanity Awards was held back in 2015, almost ten years ago. Music legend Raye Charles daughter, Sheila Ray Charles was one of our honorees and a good friend who recently went home to be with the Lord due to breast cancer.
